Amidst the delhi assembly election campaign, a political 'Mahabharata' has erupted over Ramayana in the national capital. After arvind kejriwal allegedly narrated the wrong story of Ramayana, bjp has pounced on it. bjp says that this has hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus. The dignity of Lord Sita ram and Hanuman has also been hurt. On this issue, delhi bjp President Virendra Sachdeva reached Hanuman temple in Connaught Place on tuesday (January 21). There he visited Lord Sita ram and Hanuman Ji Maharaj. He also apologized for Arvind Kejriwal's statement. Apart from this, Virendra Sachdeva decided to fast for the whole day today.
Meanwhile, Virendra Sachdeva, while talking to ABP News, called arvind kejriwal 'unrighteous'. He said, "Arvind kejriwal is an electoral Hindu. In our Sanatan Dharma, whenever atonement has to be done for someone else's sins, we bear the pain. I have kept a fast today so that the mark of that unrighteous person does not fall on Delhi."
Virendra Sachdeva further said, "As far as the golden deer is concerned, arvind kejriwal is still not coming out of his fascination for gold. He built the cm residence in the same fascination."
After Virendra Sachdeva's statement came to light, former deputy cm manish Sisodia targeted bjp by tweeting on social media in defense of aam aadmi party chief Arvind Kejriwal. He even called bjp 'descendants of Ravana'.
'BJP called Ravana's devotee'
At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party's rajya sabha MP sanjay singh went two steps ahead of manish Sisodia and called bjp 'Ravan's devotee'. He said, "BJP considers Ravana as its ideal. bjp has only one slogan 'Ravan is our ideal.'
