Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia led a padyatra in Sector 18 of rohini Assembly. The padyatra was taken out in support of bjp candidate Vijender Gupta. The Union minister called the aam aadmi party government a failure on every front. He said that former chief minister arvind kejriwal has deceived the public in the name of development. While counting the achievements of the Modi government, he claimed that the entire country is getting the benefits of welfare schemes.
Scindia said, "Due to the stubborn attitude of the AAP government, the people of delhi could not get the benefits of the central schemes. In 10 years, no concrete work was done to improve public transport. Efforts were also made to obstruct the expansion of the metro. The AAP government was reluctant to give the money for the project. Traveling in private vehicles is becoming a burden on people's pockets." Referring to health services, the Union minister called the Mohalla Clinic a sham. He alleged that there is lack of doctors, medicines and testing facilities in the Mohalla clinics. False promises were made to clean the Yamuna.
Jyotiraditya Scindia attacks AAP
Jyotiraditya Scindia said, "The central government had given Rs 1500 crore for cleaning the Yamuna. The certificate of utilization of the amount has not been submitted till date. The government did not present 14 CAG reports in the assembly due to fear of corruption being exposed."
At the end of the padyatra, he assured that the current scheme will not be stopped in the bjp government. According to the Sankalp Patra, every section will get the benefit of central schemes. The Union minister appealed to vote for the bjp on the issue of development. He said that the assembly elections are an opportunity to give a new direction to delhi and bring corruption-free governance. After coming to power, the bjp will solve the problems of the people. bjp candidate Vijender Gupta also attacked the delhi government fiercely. He counted the failures of the government on the education front. He also said that the locking of 29 schools exposes the education policy of the AAP government. He claimed that AAP had promised 24-hour water supply. Now people are forced to buy water from private tankers. Starting from Millennium Apartment, BJP's padayatra ended at Green Valley Apartment.
