Voting is being held today for uttarakhand civic elections. Amidst the election process, a big revelation has come to light regarding the voter list. Where the name of former uttarakhand Chief minister and senior congress leader Harish Rawat has disappeared from the voter list. Due to his name not being in the voting list, Harish Rawat could not cast his vote today. The congress leader expressed his displeasure over this and said that I am very disappointed that I could not cast my vote.

congress leader Harish Rawat's vote comes in ward number 76 of dehradun Municipal Corporation. Today, on thursday 23 january, when he reached the polling station to cast his vote, his name was not found in the voting list. Harish Rawat's supporters also searched the entire list, but his name could not be found in the list, due to which he had to return from the polling station without voting and he could not vote for his favorite candidate.

Harish Rawat said that I am ready since morning but I am not getting the place where I had cast my vote in the lok sabha elections. I am not saying this to blame anyone. As a citizen, I should have been cautious whereas bjp works to unite and divide, so I should have been cautious about it.

Voting continues for uttarakhand civic elections

Voting is being held for 100 municipal bodies in uttarakhand today. In which 5405 candidates are in the fray. These include 11 municipal corporations, 43 municipalities and 46 nagar panchayats. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the voters since morning for the voting of the civic elections. Long queues were seen in front of the voting booths. During the uttarakhand Municipal Corporation elections, voting is going on peacefully in all the districts and no serious problem has been seen in the voting process. The voting process for the civic elections has started from 8 am today. About 30 lakh 29 thousand voters are exercising their franchise across the state. Counting of votes will take place on january 25, after which the results will be known to everyone.
