The madhya pradesh authorities has introduced a ban on liquor at 17 places of worship across the kingdom, chief minister Mohan Yadav said on Friday, adding that liquor stores in those locations could be closed permanently.
The 17 locations where a liquor ban has been carried out are: Ujjain, Datia, Panna, â Mandla, â Multai, Mandsaur, Maihar, â Omkareshwar, â Maheshwar, Mandleshwar, â Orchha, Chitrakoot, â Amarkantak, â Salkanpur, â Barmankalan,â Barmankhurd, Linga, â Kundalpur and Bandakpur.
Liquor stores in those locations will now not be shifted everywhere and can be close down permanently, Yadav said.
The ban is relevant in six municipal businesses, six municipalities, six municipal councils and gram panchayats.
