'Brand UP' shines on World Economic Forum!
Brand UP's tremendous shine was seen in the World Economic Forum going on in Davos, Switzerland. As a result of which, the state has received Davos MoU for investment of more than Rs 19 thousand crores. UP attracted investors in the conference of World Economic Forum. After which the Union minister has also praised the efforts of UP.
Many big brands and investors of the world have also expressed their intention to invest in Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, many MoUs have also been signed. UP made a lot of efforts to attract investment in sectors like agriculture, energy, infrastructure and technology. Companies like Coca Cola, AB InBev, AM Greens, Bisleri International, Sify technology expressed interest and signed investment proposals worth thousands of crores of rupees.
Brand UP shines in Davos
The World Economic Forum conference was held in Davos between january 19 and january 23. In which many big brands have expressed their trust for investing in Uttar Pradesh. Due to the investment proposals from these big companies, the reputation of Uttar Pradesh has become very strong at the global level. In this conference, Coca-Cola has received an investment proposal of more than 2,500 crores for setting up two bottling plants in the state through moon Beverages and SLMG Beverages.
This investment will expand the bottling and distribution network of Coca-Cola in UP. Anheuser Busch InBev, the beer company that makes the Budweiser brand, will invest Rs 1,000 crore in a new distillery plant in the state. The MoU for which has been signed. It is clear from these proposals received in Davos that the image of UP has strengthened in the country and abroad and now investors are getting attracted towards UP. Due to which employment opportunities will also increase in UP.
