Uttarakhand became the first state to implement UCC!

The government led by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in uttarakhand implemented the Uniform Civil Code on monday at 12.30 pm. cm Dhami inaugurated the portal of UCC in a ceremony. cm Dhami inaugurated the UCC portal in the presence of ministers, MPs and officials at the Chief Servant house in Dehradun. The government has issued a notification in this regard.

The portal inaugurated by cm Dhami is- ucc.uk.gov.in. Information about registration and breaking of live-in relationship can be given through this portal. The entire law of UCC is available in hindi and english on this portal. After the implementation of the law and the inauguration of the portal, cm Dhami wrote on the social media site X - Beginning of a new era of equality and harmony! "An uninterrupted stream of equality has flowed from Devbhoomi uttarakhand, the origin place of Mother Ganga. uttarakhand has become the first state in the country to implement the Uniform Civil Code law.

Certificates can be both downloaded and verified through this portal. To register yourself as a resident of the state, you have to click on Apply Now on the portal.

Can be accessed in 23 languages

If you do not have a UCC ID, then you can register. To sign up here, you will have to provide Aadhaar number or Aadhaar Virtual ID information. After giving your Aadhaar card number, you will be asked for no objection on three things. After your no objection, when you sign up, you will get an OTP from Aadhaar on the registered number. After this you have to verify the OTP. You can also get the registration done offline in which Aadhaar authentication will not be required. For offline registration, you will have to provide the mobile number on which OTP will come and further process will start.
