congress writes to ballot  panel against Arvind Kejriwal's 'Yamuna poisoning' claims


The congress on tuesday wrote to the election commission on the Aam Aadmi birthday celebration (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal's

claim that the haryana authorities became mixing 'poison' into the Yamuna

to disrupt Delhi's water supply.



In a letter addressed to the leader election Commissioner, the congress said that if Kejriwal's allegations towards the BJP-led haryana authorities have been false, an FIR have to be registered towards him for violating the model Code of behavior.


Likewise, if his allegations had been observed to be genuine, the ballot  panel must deal with the issue 'seriously' and record a case against the haryana authorities, the congress said.


"you're kindly asked to analyze into the matter and take instantaneous appropriate action inside the matter," the birthday party stated in the letter.


even as addressing an election rally in delhi on Monday, kejriwal cited high stages of ammonia within the Yamuna, and claimed that the haryana chief minister Nayab Saini-led government became intentionally polluting the river.


A huge conflict of words broke out between the AAP and the bjp after Kejriwal's allegations.


The

haryana government is planning to record a defamation case

towards the previous delhi chief minister over his claims, sources stated. The bjp may even method the ballot  panel with a criticism against him.


The CEO of delhi Jal Board, shilpa Shinde, wrote to the leader Secretary, and stated that Kejriwal's statements are "factually incorrect, without any basis and deceptive".


"Such false statements result in fear-mongering among delhi residents and additionally adversely affect family members with upper riparian states," she turned into quoted as announcing within the letter through news organization ANI. Shinde also requested the leader Secretary to carry the matter to the Lieutenant Governor's interest.
