Kharge had questioned whether such an act would help eradicate poverty from the country. At the 'Jai Bapu, jai Bhim, jai Samvidhaan' rally in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, the congress chief targeted Modi and Shah and alleged that 'they have committed so many sins that they cannot go to heaven even in 100 births.' Kharge's comment came at a time when Shah took a dip in the Sangam at the maha Kumbh today. When Jain was asked by reporters about Kharge's comment, he said that the congress chief has 'insulted the faith of the people in the maha Kumbh, while it is the world's largest religious gathering.'
Conspiracy to defame Kumbh - Jain
Jain alleged that Kharge's comment is part of the Congress' conspiracy to defame the Kumbh and create division, because people from all sections of Hindu society, irrespective of their caste, come to the maha Kumbh. He said, "Congress has always been anti-Hindu. Any insult to faith cannot be accepted. The people of the country and Hindu society will not forgive this and will give a befitting reply to it." Jain said that congress is sinking due to its anti-Hindu policies. When asked about Kharge's comments about Modi and Shah, Jain said that the world knows the sins of the Congress. He said, "Just to please Muslims, they insulted Sanatan, called Hindus terrorists, coined the term saffron terrorism and filed false cases against Hindus. They created the Waqf Board. They did not let BR Ambedkar's dream come true."
