Big news on the list of new district presidents of UP BJP!
It may take three to four more days for the list of new district presidents of bharatiya janata party in Uttar Pradesh to be released. It is believed that bjp can release the list after 30 january or in the first week of February. This list is expected to come in two parts. The first list may contain the names of 75-80 district presidents, while the matter is still stuck on many seats, due to which the selection committee is facing difficulty in taking a final decision.
Along with the district presidents, the process of selection of UP bjp state president is also getting delayed. The delhi assembly elections are being said to be the biggest reason behind this. At present, the entire focus of bjp is on delhi elections. Many big leaders from UP are also engaged in the elections. In such a situation, the election of UP bjp state president can also be held in the first week of February. After the list of district presidents comes, the name of the state president will be finalized.
Delay in list due to delhi elections
The bharatiya janata party has divided the state into 98 districts on the basis of organization. Out of these, new district presidents are to be elected in 91 districts. While elections have not been held in seven districts including ayodhya metropolis and district because the formation of divisions has not been completed here, the districts in which elections are not to be held are Siddharthnagar, Basti, Fatehpur, Shamli, hapur and Ayodhya.
Let us tell you that earlier the process of election of district presidents in UP was to be completed by 30 December, but it got delayed due to delay in the selection of divisional presidents. After which 15 january was fixed as the last date for the district president election, but this time also the list could not be released due to the matter getting stuck on many seats. It is believed that the names of district presidents have been finalized on about 80 seats. Discussions have also been held with RSS regarding these names. After which this list will be sent to the central leadership and then new district presidents will be declared.
