SEBI launches portal to record tech-glitches for stock exchanges and different MIIs


The marketplace regulator has released a portal for market infrastructure institutions (MIIs) along with stock exchanges and clearing businesses to file technical system faults.


it is aimed at improving the statistics great and traceability of submissions, among other things.

In a circular issued on january 28, the Securities and alternate Board of india (SEBI) stated, "on the way to streamline the reporting manner of technical system faults across MIIs and creation of centralized repository of technical glitches, SEBI has advanced a webbased portal, i.e. included SEBI Portal for Technical system faults (iSPOT), for submission of initial and final RCA reports of technical glitches by way of the MIIs."

while a technical glitch takes place, MIIs are required to file it to the regulator along with the foundation purpose analysis (RCA). presently, those are despatched to a committed e mail techglitch@sebi.gov.in.


From february three, 2025, when the guidelines inside the gift round comes into pressure, the MIIs will need to make their submissions to the portal.
