Delhi cm Atishi claimed that a delhi police team reached punjab cm Bhagwant Mann's residence to conduct a raid.

Delhi chief minister Atishi on thursday claimed that a team from the delhi police reached punjab cm Bhagwant Mann's official residence in the city, Kapoorthala House, to conduct a raid.

Atishi slammed the delhi Police saying that no raid was conducted despite the "BJP is distributing money, shoes, and mattresses in broad daylight", but instead an elected CM's residence was being raided.

In a post on X, the delhi cm wrote, "Delhi police has reached @BhagwantMann Ji's residence in delhi for a raid. Meanwhile, the BJP is distributing money, shoes, and mattresses in broad daylight, but that isn't noticed. Instead, they raid the residence of an elected Chief Minister."

"What a spectacle, BJP! On the 5th, the people of delhi will give their answer!" she added.

According to sources, an official said that a complaint was received through the election Commission's cVIGIL portal, alleging cash distribution from Mann's residence. Sources said a team of the election commission had arrived at the punjab CM's residence to conduct a raid but were not allowed to enter. They are waiting for permission from the punjab DIG to enter.

"We have got a complaint about money distribution. We have to dispose of the complaint in 100 minutes. Our Flying Squad Team had come here which was not allowed to enter. I have come here to request them to let us enter along with a cameraperson. The complaint of money distribution was received on the cVIGIL app," Returning Officer OP Pandey said.
