Kumbh mela 2025: Akasa air Cuts Prayagraj Flight Fares through 30-45%, increases services Following govt Order

Akasa air has reduced ticket prices for flights to Prayagraj through 30-45 in keeping with cent and improved quantity of flights to the metropolis, assets said on thursday inside the wake of the government asking airlines to keep affordable fares.

Airfares for the flights to Prayagraj have been on the upward thrust in view of the maha Kumbh, which commenced on january 13 and could finish on february 26.

On Wednesday, the civil aviation ministry requested airlines to growth flights and keep reasonable airfares for Prayagraj flights.

In a launch on thursday, Akasa air stated it has ramped up connectivity to Prayagraj with unique flights from Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru. This is further to the daily direct services from mumbai and Delhi.

The assets said Akasa air has reduced ticket fees for Prayagraj flights by using 30-45 according to cent.

As consistent with the airline's internet site, a price ticket for Pune-Prayagraj flight on february 19 is little over Rs 28,000.

On january 25, patron Affairs minister Pralhad Joshi wrote a letter to Civil Aviation minister k ram mohan Naidu about complaints regarding exorbitantly excessive airfares for Prayagraj flights.
