CM Yogi's big decision to improve the system!
After the stampede in Mahakumbh, cm Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with the officials in which all the big decisions related to the security of the devotees from the fair area were taken. cm Yogi gave instructions to make better arrangements for everyone's safety and ashish Goyal, who was the Divisional Commissioner in Prayagraj, and bhanu Goswami, who was the VC of ADA, have been deployed in Mahakumbh. Apart from these, 5 special secretaries have also been given the responsibility to improve the arrangements of Kumbh.
Late night, cm Yogi held a meeting with the officials through video conferencing with senior police officers and administrative officers posted in Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Mirzapur, Basti, Jaunpur, Chitrakoot, Banda, Ambedkar Nagar, Pratapgarh, Sant Kabir Nagar, Bhadohi, Rae Bareli, Gorakhpur districts / zones / ranges. In which instructions were given to maintain constant vigilance and caution in the fair area.
Arrangements should be made for the safety of the devotees
The chief minister directed the officials of all the districts sharing the border with Prayagraj to keep in constant contact and coordination with the Prayagraj administration. And said that there is a large number of devotees present at all the railway stations of Prayagraj. These are the devotees who are now returning to their homes after taking bath. ADG and district Magistrate Prayagraj should ensure that every devotee reaches his destination safely. By making contact and coordination with the railways, continuous operation of trains should be ensured and additional buses should be deployed.
He said that holding areas have been created in the border areas to avoid crowd pressure in the fair area. Let them move forward considering the situation. Wherever people have been stopped, arrangements for food/drinking water should be made for everyone. Not a single devotee should have a problem of food and water. Power supply should not be disrupted in any holding area. All the routes for return from Prayagraj should be kept open.
Traffic should continue continuously in maha Kumbh. Do not stop unnecessary people. There should not be pressure of crowd anywhere. There should not be any jam on the roads. 'Amrit Snan' is to be held on Basant Panchami on 3 February. In view of that, focus should be given on every point related to security and convenience.
