We will work to make the health, education, economic upliftment and lifestyle of the people of Purvanchal better than average. Chhath Mahaparva will be celebrated on the lines of maha Kumbh, which will be the world's largest Chhath event. A very large place will be identified on the banks of yamuna and declared a district.
Accused bjp and AAP of insulting Purvanchalis
Attacking bjp and AAP, he said that on one hand the bjp president compares Purvanchalis' brothers with Rohingyas, Bangladeshis and infiltrators in the Parliament, while on the other hand kejriwal says that fake votes of Purvanchalis are being added. kejriwal sees the people of Purvanchal as fake. kejriwal could not get yamuna cleaned and he blames the Purvanchalis for that too.
He said that the brothers and sisters of Purvanchal are the makers of delhi, but the ruling parties of bjp and AAP have seen Purvanchalis only from the point of view of votes. There are 1797 slum colonies in delhi in which most of the people live from Purvanchal. They live in such a miserable condition that rainwater enters their homes. They do not get drinking water in summer. There are no employment opportunities for them. Rai further said that the congress government is committed to protecting the interests of the people of Purvanchal. congress will work for the people of Purvanchal and protect their interests.
