Who will get the benefit?
During his speech, the Finance minister said that the benefit of this Dhan Dhanya scheme will be available in places with low yield and this scheme will be started here. At the same time, 1.7 crore farmers will get help through this scheme. This scheme will be run in collaboration with the states.

Under this scheme, 100 districts will be covered and these will be such districts where production is low. This will help in increasing productivity, diversifying farming, strengthening irrigation and post-harvest storage capacity in the states covered under this scheme.
