Teen drowned in canal in ghaziabad for coconut...
A 12-year-old child drowned in a canal in Nahal Chowki area of Thana Mussoorie in Ghaziabad. police has received information that the drowned child had come to the canal bank with his friend. Then both the children entered the water to take out the coconut floating in the canal. Out of which one child drowned. The other came out safe. The surviving child has informed the police. Divers are searching for the drowned child.
ACP Mussoorie siddharth Gautam in ghaziabad said that 12-year-old Umer has drowned in Nahal Chowki area of Thana Mussoorie in Ghaziabad. police received information that Umer son of Aneesh, age 12 years and Monish son of Sharafat, age 10 years, residents of village Nahal, were walking on the bank of the canal. Meanwhile, a coconut was floating in the Mussoorie canal. Both the children entered the canal to take out the coconut. During this, Umer drowned in the water. Monish, the child who came with him, informed the people. police has reached the spot. local divers are also searching for Umer who drowned in the water. Also, efforts are being made to reduce the water level of the canal with the regulator.
The child's body has not been recovered yet
