CM yogi adityanath has constituted a judicial commission under the chairmanship of retired Justice Harsh Kumar of allahabad High court to investigate the stampede. Which includes retired IPS VK Gupta and retired IPS Dinesh Kumar Singh. As per the scheduled time, the team of the Judicial Commission reached the stampede place in maha Kumbh on friday afternoon and also saw the barricading after which the crowd started running away and climbed on the devotees waiting for Brahma Muhurta on the banks of Sangam. After which the situation went out of control.
The judicial commission also talked to the officials and eyewitnesses posted on the spot and asked from which direction the crowd was coming and where it was being sent.
