World Book Fair in Delhi, people will get free entry?
The World Book Fair, considered to be a festival of book lovers, is going to start from tomorrow i.e. february 1. Organized by the National Book Trust, this World Book Fair is being organized in Bharat Mandapam, the capital Delhi, between february 9. Book lovers will be able to go to this fair in Hall No. 02 to 66 of Bharat Mandapam from 11 am to 8 pm and will be able to get acquainted with books from all over the world related to various subjects.
Theme of the book fair 'We are the people of India'
director of National Book Trust Yuvraj Malik told ABP Live that the theme of this time's book fair is 'We are the people of India'. This fair is going to be bigger and better than ever, celebrating books, literature and culture. It is not only going to be a grand celebration celebrating books and heritage, but it will also focus on the horizon of an ambitious india and the vision that shapes its bright future.
Many celebrities will participate
He said that this time people from 50 countries will come to the World Book Fair and more than 2000 publishers and stalls will be set up. Apart from a special pavilion for children, many cultural programs will be organized. Leading personalities from various cultures and fields including literature, governance, technology, art and cinema will participate in these programs. Actors Pankaj Tripathi, Phonsok Ladakhi, Pushpesh Pant, Shashi Tharoor, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Govind Dholakia, Kumar Vishwas, prakash jha and many others will connect with the audience in various sessions.
How you can reach the fair?
The director of NBT said that book lovers can reach the fair from Pragati Maidan's entry gate number 3, 4 and 10. The nearest metro station is supreme Court. Shuttle service will be available for visitors from Pragati Maidan entrance gate number 10. The entry fee has been fixed at Rs 20 for adults and Rs 10 for children, while entry will be free for Divyang, elderly and students coming in school dress.
