DCP Sachin Sharma said that the outer district police has registered 10 cases under the Excise Act. He said that 4086 quarters of illegal liquor have been recovered and 10 people have been arrested. A case has been registered under the Arms Act.
The police nabbed the accused along with a country-made pistol. The police is also taking action under the NDPS Act. Three people were arrested and 605 grams of ganja was recovered. One fugitive and 49 bad characters were also arrested and put behind bars by the police. DCP Sachin Sharma said that the code of conduct is in force in Delhi. The police is also tightening the noose against those drinking alcohol in public places.

Preventive action has been taken against 80 people for disturbing peace. A case has been registered against 42 people under the Excise Act. The DCP said that the Model Code of Conduct is being strictly followed on the instructions of the election Commission. The Outer district police is ready to conduct fair and peaceful voting.
