Shaukeen is a former independent mla from Mundka assembly constituency. In the year 2015, a case was registered against him under the maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) after an AK-47 was recovered from one of his plots. He escaped from police custody in 2018 while being taken to a hospital in the city and was arrested again in 2020.
