Announcement of 3 new Greenfield airports in Bihar!

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the country's general budget in the lok sabha on Saturday. In the budget speech, the Finance minister has announced the construction of a new Greenfield airport in Bihar. Before the assembly elections in bihar in October-November this year, there seems to be a complete focus on bihar in the country's general budget presented before that. The Finance minister has also made many other big announcements for bihar, including the formation of Makhana Board, National Institute of Food technology Entrepreneurship and Management and expansion of patna IIT.

What is a Greenfield Airport?

Greenfield airport means building an airport on such land where there is no construction already. Greenfield airport is built on vacant and undeveloped land. The main purpose of building this airport is to reduce the congestion of the already existing airport in the city. This airport will meet future needs. Apart from patna airport and Brown Field airport of Bihta, this will be the third airport. This airport will play an important role in the development of Bihar. This will also reduce the increased pressure on patna airport.

Makhana Board will be formed in Bihar

The formation of Makhana Board has also been announced in Bihar. The formation of Makhana Board will create new employment opportunities. This will also provide an opportunity for value addition, production, processing and marketing. Along with this, people engaged in extracting Makhana will also benefit. With the formation of Makhana Board, farmers will be given training, they will be supported so that they can get benefits from the government. At the same time, the Finance minister has announced that a new scheme will be started for five lakh Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe women entrepreneurs who have become entrepreneurs for the first time. Under this, a loan of Rs 2 crore will be made available to them during the next 5 years.
