He said that cm Nitish has been repeatedly demanding that bihar should get special status status or special package. There are some technical flaws of niti aayog due to which bihar is not getting special state status. If special state status is given, then development will happen more rapidly. This has been the demand of our party.

Khalid Anwar said that this demand has been raised by our party many times in the meeting of NITI Aayog. It would be good if special state status is given now, but there is a technical problem. It should be given by removing the technical problems. Special status is Nitish Kumar's dream project and I hope that the current central government will give it. The announcements made in the budget are good, but bihar should have got more. If we look at it overall, bihar is getting 3 airports. Kosi project has been given. Makhana Board is being formed. IIT patna is being expanded. bihar has been given a gift. Food park will be opened. bihar has got good things in the budget and should have got better things.
Let us tell you that Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the general budget, but JDU is upset as there is no mention of special state status. This has been an old demand of the party. It is an election year. RJD has also raised questions on the budget that there was no announcement of giving special state status to Bihar. This will provide opportunities for production, processing, value addition and marketing. 3 new airports will also be built. 3 greenfield airports in Bihar. These will be separate from increasing the capacity of patna and Bihta airports. Western Koshi Canal Project will be started in Mithilaanchal. 50 tourist places will be developed.
