Stepmother killed 8-year-old innocent…?
A heart-wrenching incident came to light on saturday from Purba Tola Ward No. 8 of Naya Bhojpur police station area of Buxar, Bihar. Here a stepmother killed an 8-year-old innocent and hid the body in a plastic sack. After which the accused woman lied to the neighbors that her daughter had disappeared.
When the neighbors doubted the woman's words, the half-burnt body of the girl was recovered from a box when the house was searched. After which the police was informed about the matter and the woman was arrested.
Killed the girl and hid the body in a box
The deceased 8-year-old Anchal lived with her grandmother and stepmother seema Devi in Purba Tola of Naya Bhojpur. Anchal's father Pappu Gond is employed in a private company in Delhi. seema Devi and Pappu got married in 2024, but according to sources, the relationship between seema and Anchal was not good. seema was always irritated with her stepdaughter and kept away from her.
At around 10 pm on saturday night, seema Devi suddenly came out of the house and shouted that Anchal was missing. After which the neighbors started looking for the girl, but when she was not found, they suspected seema Devi. The neighbors searched Seema's house, during which Anchal's half-burnt body was recovered from a box.
Strict action will be taken against the woman
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot. Dumraon DSP Afaque Akhtar found during the investigation that seema Devi had killed her stepdaughter and hid the body. The police have taken the woman into custody and started interrogation. At the same time, the body has been sent to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The police is planning to take the strictest action against the woman.
