Terror of 'Thak-Thak Gang' in delhi, this is how robbery…

delhi Police's Anti auto Theft Squad has claimed to have solved the snatching case. police has arrested two accused of robbing jewelry worth 1 crore. The accused have been identified as 40-year-old Ventesh and 19-year-old Piyush. police has recovered jewelry worth 20 lakhs, two stolen mobiles and a scooty used in the crime from the robbers. Both are said to be members of the Thak-Thak gang. DCP South Ankit Chauhan said that the case is of january 21.

The 69-year-old jewelry businessman was returning home in a car with the driver. At 9 pm, the businessman's car stopped at the traffic signal of Bharat Nagar. A miscreant broke the glass of the rear window of the car and snatched the bag. The bag contained jewelry worth about Rs 1.10 crore. The accused fled on a scooter after carrying out the crime. On the complaint of the businessman, the police registered a case and started investigation. The South District's Anti auto Theft Squad was given the responsibility of investigation. Inspector Umesh Yadav, ASI Deshraj, Head Constable Arvind, Head Constable Joginder and Constable Kanaram were included in the Anti auto Theft Squad team.

The team started working under the supervision of ACP Operations Abhinendra Jain. First of all, CCTV footage was scanned. The appearance of the suspects was identified from the CCTV. With the help of informers and technical surveillance, the police team was successful in tracing the location of the suspects. According to DCP South, on january 31, information was received that two members of the Thak-Thak gang were going to sell stolen jewellery near Chirag delhi red Light. The police laid a trap to catch the criminals. Two suspects were seen coming on a scooter without a number plate. The police immediately surrounded them and caught both of them. During interrogation, they confessed their involvement in the Bharat nagar snatching case. DCP South told the method of snatching of the Thak-Thak gang.

Method of executing robbery

The Thak-Thak gang used to target businessmen, jewelers and people travelling in luxury cars.

The rear tyre of the car was punctured to distract the attention of the passenger.

They used to force the driver to get out by pouring oil or other substance on the bonnet of the car.

They used to break the windows of the car and loot bags and valuables and then run away.

They used to target cars parked at red lights and steal the goods in a moment.
