Laborer dies while cleaning tank in chemical factory…
In a tragic accident in a chemical factory in aligarh, one laborer died, while two laborers are still struggling between life and death. When the people around got information about this incident, there was a stir in the area. As soon as the information was received, the area police launched a rescue operation and admitted the injured to the hospital where their treatment is going on.
Actually the whole matter is of a chemical factory located in Talanagari Sector-1 of Harduaganj police station of aligarh district, where two laborers fainted after coming in contact with poisonous gas while cleaning the chemical tank. At the same time, the nephew of the laborers standing outside got caught in the chemical. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took out the injured and sent them to the hospital, where one laborer died and the other is undergoing treatment.
1 died due to poisonous gas
The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Somveer alias Tika, son of hari Singh Balmiki, a resident of Ahmedpura village of Atrauli police station area, who worked in Khurana Chemical Factory located in Talanagari. On february 2, he called his cousin rahul (20) and nephew Mahesh alias Saka (18) to clean the chemical waste tank built in the factory.
Somveer and rahul were cleaning the tank by getting down, while Mahesh was pulling the debris from above. Then at around 6 pm, Somveer and Rahul's health started deteriorating due to the poisonous gas formed inside the tank. Hearing their screams, the factory guard immediately informed the nearby police station. The police and fire brigade reached the spot and pulled both of them out by throwing a rope, but both fainted as soon as they came out. The policemen immediately tried to save them by giving CPR and then sent them to the hospital in a private vehicle. Where the doctors declared Somveer dead, while Rahul's treatment is going on.
