The lives of the people here are stuck in the web of water pipes and electric wires hanging in the air. Wires and pipes going under the ground were found hanging in the air here. Water is supplied through these pipes hanging in the air, for which the residents here have to pay money.

Drinking water one rupee per liter!

There is a shortage of even drinking water here. Drinking water is available at one rupee per liter and water for bathing or washing clothes is available at twelve paise per liter. This story is more than a decade old. Every house, every street, every tenant and every house owner in this area has this compulsion. If you want to live here, you have to pay for water. In a way, life is like hell. people are not even being provided basic facilities.

local people say that ever since they are living here, they have to buy water. If there are four people in a family, then each person has to pay 200 rupees. local resident Farheen said, "If there are five people in my house, then we have to pay a thousand rupees just to buy drinking water. There is separate water for washing clothes and cleaning utensils, if we use 1000 liters of water in it, then we have to pay a hundred rupees.

Water pipes hanging from the support of electricity poles

For the people living here, buying water has become like buying daily vegetables. Due to the supply of water to the houses through electricity poles, water pipes are seen passing through the roof of every house. Pipes attached to electricity poles can become a major cause of danger at any time. people say that there is no water supply from the government here, even the central government does not give anything. We do not get water so we have to buy it. people say that this is a complete industrial area. A lot of people from bihar and UP live here. Even after facing so many problems, no one says anything.
