Namo Bharat train will start on more routes in UP...
Now there is a preparation to run Namo Bharat train for short distances in big cities like Kanpur-Lucknow (Kanpur lucknow Namo Train) in Uttar Pradesh. Due to which the distance between one district and another will be reduced and connectivity will increase. The Railway Ministry has started its preparation. Railway minister ashwini Vaishnav gave information about the proposed schemes of UP through a virtual press conference.
According to the plan, Namo Bharat train will be seen running between short distances like lucknow to kanpur and Meerut-Saharanpur. Stoppage of these trains will be given at all major stations. These trains will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and all AC bogies will be installed in them. Which will facilitate the passengers in commuting.
Rapid growth in UP rail network
Giving information about Uttar Pradesh, the Railway minister said that the Railway Ministry has made a provision of a budget of Rs 19858 crore for it. Along with this, an investment of Rs 1.04 thousand crore is also being made in the state. He told that the development of double, triple lines and Amrit Bharat stations is also being done rapidly in the state.
Work is being done to increase rail connectivity in UP. ashwini Vaishnav told that in the last ten years, 5200 km of new lines have been laid in UP. Not only this, 157 stations are being developed under the Amrit Bharat Yojana. On the expansion of railways in the state, he told that 14 Vande Bharat trains are passing through 20 districts in UP. During this, the Railway minister also praised UP cm Yogi and said that the chief minister of UP is also getting full support in expanding the rail network.
