CM Atishi's big allegation a day before voting in Delhi...
The election campaign in delhi came to an end on monday (3 January). Now voting is tomorrow i.e. on 5 february and the results will come on 8 February. Meanwhile, delhi chief minister Atishi has made a big allegation on the son of Ramesh Bidhuri, bjp candidate from Kalkaji seat. Atishi said that Ramesh Bidhuri's son manish Bidhuri along with his 3-4 people were threatening people in JJ Camp and Girinagar area. We complained after which the police took them away.
Speaking to ANI, cm Atishi said, "The election campaign has ended on Monday. During the silence period after 6 pm, no outsider is allowed to enter the assembly constituency. We received information that someone from Ramesh Bidhuri's Tughlakabad team is threatening people in JJ Camp, Girinagar area." Hope police will take action. He further said, "We saw Ramesh Bidhuri's son manish Bidhuri sitting here with 3-4 other outsiders. I informed the administration about this. police has taken him away, I hope action will be taken and no one other than the residents of Kalkaji assembly will be allowed to come here."
Ramesh Bidhuri hits back
bjp candidate Ramesh Bidhuri hit back, saying, "Aatishi, don't say anything in frustration of defeat like Kejriwal, don't tarnish the dignity of constitutional post for selfish reasons. I have two sons, the elder one is an advocate in delhi High court and the younger one is a mechanical engineer who is the vice-president of a company abroad and is currently there. Don't lose your patience in frustration of defeat and have faith in democracy." He further said, "A few days ago you came live and showing a photo, you were calling him manish Bidhuri and today you are calling someone else manish Bidhuri. The election campaign is over now and now let the public decide."
Let us tell you that this time from Kalkaji assembly seat, Ramesh Bidhuri is contesting against Atishi from bharatiya janata party, while Alka Lamba is in the fray from Congress. aam aadmi party is confident of its victory. Ramesh Bidhuri has also been a delhi MP earlier. He did not get a ticket in the 2024 lok sabha elections, after which he has now been given another chance by giving him an assembly ticket in the field.
