MD drugs manufacturing factory busted in Sangli...
An MD drugs manufacturing factory has been busted in Sangli district of Maharashtra. The accused running this factory have been arrested. Late on monday (January 27), Sangli police raided a company located in Karve MIDC area near Vita city and exposed a big drug manufacturing racket.
According to Superintendent of police Sandeep Ghuge, after the factory was busted, the investigation of the case was handed over to the local crime investigation. The three arrested accused were interrogated intensively, then three more suspects were arrested. During interrogation, the police came to know that these 6 accused met in Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai. police said that after being released on bail, these 6 accused together planned to start an MD drugs factory. Among the arrested accused, two people from mumbai as well as one person from Valva taluka have been arrested.
The accused have been identified
The arrested accused have been identified as Jitendra Parmar, Abdul Razzaq Sheikh and Sardar Uttam Patil. Rahuldeep Boricha (Kosamba, district Surat), Suleman Sheikh (Bandra, Mumbai), Balraj amar Katari (24, district Vita) were making MD drugs in a closed factory in Karve near Vita in Sangli. 14 kg 500 grams of MD drugs worth Rs 29 crore were seized from these accused. The police is investigating the matter and finding out how big this drug racket is and where they used to supply the drugs.
