Government busy in preparations for Chardham Yatra…
The world famous Chardham yatra of uttarakhand is going to start in the month of April-May 2025. Earlier, after the completion of the yatra in november last year, the winter Chardham yatra is also going on in full swing. So far, more than 31,000 devotees have visited the holy shrines of Devbhoomi under the winter Chardham Yatra. Now only a few months are left for the start of the yatra, in view of which the uttarakhand government and the Badrinath-Kedarnath temple Committee (BKTC) have speeded up the preparations. In this sequence, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami released a booklet and calendar prepared in seven languages to promote the Chardham yatra and give information to the devotees. The government says that this booklet and calendar will inspire the devotees to visit the Chardham and will also prove helpful in promoting the winter journey.
Important meeting regarding Chardham yatra in Uttarakhand
The uttarakhand government has started preparations at every level to smoothly operate the arrangements for the Chardham Yatra. In this episode, an important meeting of the Chardham yatra Management and Control Organization is being organized today on february 5 at 11:30 am. The meeting will be chaired by the organization's president and Garhwal Commissioner Vinay shankar Pandey.
This meeting will be attended by senior officials of the police Department, health Department, Public Works Department (PWD), National Highway (NH), Energy Department, Food and Supplies Department and other departments related to the Chardham Yatra. During the Chardham yatra, the security of the devotees, health services, repair of routes, traffic management and other necessary facilities will be reviewed.
Booklet and calendar released for the convenience of devotees
BKTC media in-charge Dr. Harish Gaur said that the 2025 Chardham yatra will start from april 30. Akshaya Tritiya is on this day, and on this auspicious date the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will be opened for the devotees. Apart from this, the date of opening of the doors of kedarnath Dham will be announced on the day of Mahashivratri, i.e. on february 26. At the same time, the date of opening of the doors of badrinath Dham has already been fixed, according to which the doors of badrinath Dham will be opened for devotees on 4 May 2025. The Badrinath-Kedarnath temple Committee (BKTC) has prepared a special booklet and calendar for the convenience of the devotees, which was recently released by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. This booklet has been published in seven languages - Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, bengali and Gujarati to give comprehensive information about the Chardham yatra to devotees across the country.
