Weather changed in uttarakhand, rain and snowfall increased!
The weather in uttarakhand suddenly changed on Tuesday, due to which the cold increased in the entire state. Snowfall started especially in Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham from afternoon, while light rain was recorded in the lower mountain areas. This change has led to a drop in temperature in various parts of the state, due to which people are facing severe cold. Snowfall started in all the four Dhams of uttarakhand, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri after 1 pm on Tuesday.
Apart from this, snowfall also occurred in Triyuginarayan, Chopta, Hemkund Sahib, auli, Harshil, Gaursons and other high altitude areas. There is a possibility of continuous snowfall especially on the high peaks of Kedarnath, Badrinath, auli and Harshil. Snowfall has increased the cold in these areas, due to which travelers and local residents are facing difficulties. At the same time, devotees who have come on the winter Chardham yatra are enjoying this beautiful view. Light to moderate rain was recorded in many lower mountain areas of uttarakhand, which further increased the cold. Dense clouds remained throughout the day in districts like Pauri, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Tehri and Uttarkashi and icy winds continued to blow.
Three to five mm of rain was recorded in areas like Vishnuprayag, Tapovan, Guptkashi, Joshimath, Srinagar, Uttarkashi, Chandrabadni, Yamkeshwar, Barkot. The temperature dropped due to rain and the severe cold forced people to wear warm clothes. Changes in the weather were also seen in the plains of Uttarakhand. dehradun, Haridwar and Udham Singh nagar remained cloudy throughout the day, due to which the maximum temperature dropped by three to four degrees Celsius.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature of dehradun was 22.4 degrees Celsius, which was one degree above normal, while the minimum temperature was 9.9 degrees Celsius, which was one degree below normal. On Monday, the maximum temperature of dehradun was 26.3 degrees Celsius, which clearly shows that the temperature dropped by about 4 degrees Celsius in a single day.
