Yogi government brought master plan for these 63 small cities…
The yogi adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh is making a big plan to expand small cities. The central government has agreed to the master plan of the UP government under Amrit-2, under which 63 cities of the state will be expanded under the master plan. However, 32 of these cities are such in which the population is not up to the standard. These cities are nagar Panchayats, whose population is less than 50 thousand. In such a situation, emphasis will be laid on increasing the population of these cities under the scheme.
The Uttar Pradesh government can consider the boundary expansion as soon as possible to increase the population of these cities. The responsibility for this has been given to the Urban Development Department. Which is working towards taking the population of the cities to above 50 thousand. Earlier, the central government had given money to the UP government to make a master plan of 59 cities of the state in Amrit One. These cities are being built under the master plan of 2031.
Small cities of UP will be expanded
63 more cities of UP have now been included in Amrit 2. This master plan is being designed according to 2041. For this, the meeting of the state level high-powered steering committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary has selected the cities, but the population of 32 of these cities has been found to be less than the set standards. The boundary area of these cities is also less according to the future master plan 2041, so it has been asked to increase the population and area of these cities.
The information of this scheme has also been given to the Urban Development Department by the Housing Department. After which now the Urban Development will conduct a survey of these cities and try to know how much population needs to be increased in which city. At present, there seems to be a problem regarding the census. A new census is to be done in the country. For which first the boundary is fixed on the basis of which the calculation will be done. On the basis of the suggestions given by the Housing Department, there may be a problem on the border expansion.
