Voting is going on for the by-election on Milkipur seat of ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, Samajwadi party national president and Kannauj mp Akhilesh Yadav posted a post on social media site X. ayodhya police rejected Akhilesh's post calling it misleading.

SP chief wrote on social media site X - election commission should immediately take cognizance of the pictures related to this news that ayodhya police is checking the ID cards of voters in Milkipur, in which senior police officers are also involved. This is a democratic crime of indirectly influencing voting by creating fear among voters. Such people should be removed immediately and punitive action should be taken.

Responding to this post of Akhilesh, ayodhya police wrote - The above photo is of looking at the identity card of the booth agent, the person seen in the photo is a booth agent of a candidate who has been certified by looking at his identity card. Please do not make misleading tweets.

Senior Superintendent of police of ayodhya Raj Kumar Nayyar also gave a statement in this matter. He said that some political parties are alleging that "Ayodhya police is checking voters' ID cards in Milkipur". ayodhya police denies the above allegations.
