According to Milind Bhosale, the contractors' dues are pending in various departments for eight months. The government does not seem serious about making the payment. Therefore, the contractors were forced to protest. Let us tell you that the contractors are yet to receive Rs 46,000 crore from the PWD department. Jal jeevan Mission owes Rs 18000 crore, Rural Development Department owes Rs 8,600 crore, Irrigation Department owes Rs 19,700 crore, Urban Development Department owes Rs 17,000 crore.

He demanded the release of the pending dues as soon as possible. The effect of the contractors' agitation was seen in 27 districts. The State Contractors Federation has accused the government of indifference towards the problems of contractors.
