Out of 82 agendas, 41 schemes are of road department!

Now to keep that vote bank intact in the bihar assembly elections as well, nitish kumar has made 188 announcements in North bihar so far during his Pragati yatra, out of which 121 announcements have been passed in the cabinet, while 67 announcements have been said to be completed at the departmental level. Last Tuesday, 136 agendas were approved in the cabinet, out of which the maximum 82 agendas were related to the announcement made by chief minister nitish kumar during the Pragati Yatra. Out of these 82 agendas, the maximum 41 schemes are for road construction, which will be in the districts of North bihar, while 12 schemes are for the Water Resources Department.

Let us tell you that in North bihar, the construction of roads to connect the villages of many districts has not been completed yet. North bihar is always affected by the problem of floods. Now the Nitish government has taken a big initiative to provide relief to the people of North bihar from floods and roads to sail through the 2025 bihar Assembly elections.

82 agendas have been passed in the cabinet only for Pragati yatra, out of which the maximum 41 agendas are for road construction, which will cost about Rs 6,300 crore. Of these, the maximum five schemes are in Muzaffarpur, while four schemes in Gopalganj, three schemes in Kishanganj have also been passed in the cabinet. Apart from this, the cabinet has approved several schemes for road construction in Siwan, two in Chhapra, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Rosra, Supaul, Katihar, Araria, Samastipur, West Champaran.

This time Nitish government has made up its mind not only to get rid of roads but also to get rid of floods. For this, 12 agendas have been announced during the Pragati yatra by the Water Resources Department. And about three and a half thousand crore rupees have been approved to be spent in this. Most of these will be spent on building embankments which will help in getting rid of the flood problem, while the cabinet has also approved to provide funds for Orai in the river at many places.
