The Sikh youth who was sent back from America was brought from delhi airport by Pilibhit's Puranpur Kotwali police and handed over to his family. The case is from Banjaria village located in Puranpur Kotwali area of the district, here Gurpreet Singh son of Gurmeet Singh who was sent back from America was brought safely from delhi airport by Puranpur Kotwali police and handed over to his family. According to the police, Gurpreet Singh went to Cardiff university london on 23 october through an agent on a study visa for 15 months of study in the UK. After studying there for two months, Gurpreet Singh was informed by Cardiff university that his fees have not been deposited.
Giving information, Pilibhit CO Prateek Dahiya said that Gurpreet Singh, son of Gurmeet Singh, resident of village Banjaria, police station Puranpur, district Pilibhit, under the police station Puranpur area, went to Cardiff university, london for 15 months on a study visa for UK through an agent on 23.09.2022. After studying there for 02 months, Gurpreet Singh was informed by Cardiff university that his fees have not been deposited. Then again through an agent, on 18.12.2024, he went from london to spain, from spain to Gotemala (South America) and from there to nicaragua by flight.

After this he went to honduras by bus and from honduras he went to Gotemala by bus and from Gotemala he went to mexico by car, when he crossed the Tijwana border from mexico, the US army caught him on 13.01.2025, the army kept him in the detention area for 22 days. Then from there he was sent to amritsar (Punjab) by flight on 05.02.2025. Then from amritsar these people were sent to delhi Airport by plane. Today on 06.02.2025, on receiving information, Puranpur police station immediately went to delhi Airport and brought Gurpreet Singh son Gurmeet Singh resident of village Banjaria, police station Puranpur, district Pilibhit safely and handed him over to his family.
