A major road accident took place near Totanagar village under Shivratanganj police station of the district around 6 pm on thursday evening. In which three minor children died while two people were injured. The injured have been sent to CHC Singhpur for treatment. After the incident, the driver of the hydra fled leaving the hydra on the spot.
An uncontrolled hydra hit the bikes parked on the roadside near Tota nagar village under Singhpur police station area of Amethi district. Due to which three teenagers including two cousins riding on the bike died on the spot in a horrific road accident. While two others including a woman were seriously injured.

The three minor deceased were residents of Rukunpur village. Kamlesh (18) son of Ramkishore, Suraj (15) son of Rajendra and Sarvesh son of Ramesh were returning home from an invitation in Pure Trivedi village of Rajafattepur with their family. On the way, bike riders near jaiswal Fertilizer and Seed Store in Totanagar stood on the side of the road and waited for other companions. Then a high speed uncontrolled Hydra coming from Semrauta crushed the minor teenagers standing on the side of the road. Due to which two cousins Kamlesh and Sarvesh and Suraj riding on the same bike died on the spot. While the fourth injured Arpit and a woman are undergoing treatment in CHC. On receiving the information of the incident, police from many police stations including Shivratanganj, Mohanganj, Inhauna reached the spot and restored the traffic.
Additional Superintendent of police of the district Harendra Kumar said that as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police immediately reached the spot and after taking the bodies of the deceased into custody, Panchnama was done and they were sent for postmortem. The Hydra was also taken into custody and its driver is being searched for.
