Arvind Kejriwal's Big Claim Before The Results...
The political temperature in delhi is high before the results of the delhi assembly elections. Meanwhile, on friday (7 February), Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor arvind kejriwal has made a big claim. He said that despite repeated requests by the aam aadmi party, the election commission is not uploading the number of votes cast at the booth.
arvind kejriwal wrote on his X handle, "Despite repeated requests, the election commission has refused to upload Form 17C and the number of votes cast at every booth in every assembly. aam aadmi party has created a website http://transparentelections.in on which we have uploaded all Form 17C of every assembly. This form has complete details of the votes cast at every booth." 'This should have been done for transparency'
He further wrote, "Throughout the day we will list and present the data of every assembly and every booth so that every voter can access this information. This is something that the election commission should have done in the interest of transparency but it is unfortunate that they (Election Commission) are refusing to do so."
aam aadmi party national convenor arvind kejriwal had earlier also questioned the work of the election Commission. On tuesday (February 4), he alleged that the election commission and delhi Police filed an FIR against chief minister Atishi instead of complaining about 'open hooliganism' by bjp workers. He had also claimed during the election campaign that the bjp was distributing money, liquor and other goods under the protection of the election commission and delhi Police.
