Supriya Sule's Big Statement On maharashtra Elections?

Former congress President rahul gandhi on friday alleged that the election commission not providing the data of voters of maharashtra despite repeated demands seems to indicate that something is wrong. The leader of Opposition in the lok sabha also said in a joint press conference with Shiv Sena-UBT leader Sanjay Raut and ncp (SP) mp supriya sule that the election commission should bring transparency. It is its responsibility to provide the voter list of the entire state related to lok sabha and assembly elections in Maharashtra.

During this, supriya sule said that one of our winning MLAs wants re-election by ballot. We want elections to be held by ballot paper instead of machine. raj Thackeray has also raised questions on this. Our party was broken. A symbol similar to our new symbol was given to someone else, which caused us loss. The election commission has a big responsibility in a strong democracy.

We found many irregularities - rahul Gandhi

Earlier, the former congress president claimed that the number of voters in maharashtra is more than the adult population here. rahul gandhi said, "We represent the entire opposition, which contested the last election in Maharashtra. We want to bring to the attention of the people of india some important information that has come to light regarding the maharashtra elections. Our team has carefully studied the voter list and voting pattern and we have been working on it for some time. Unfortunately, we found many irregularities. "

He said that it is necessary for the country, especially the young people who are in favor of democracy and believe in it, to be aware and understand these findings. The former congress president claimed that in the period between the lok sabha elections last year and then the maharashtra assembly elections held five months later, the number of voters in the state increased by an amount equal to the population of Himachal Pradesh. "According to him, after the lok sabha elections, 39 lakh voters were added in maharashtra in five months, whereas 32 lakh voters were added in the last five years.

He asked where these voters have come from and who are they? rahul gandhi said, "We are not making allegations, but despite repeated demands from the opposition, the election commission is not providing the data of voters in Maharashtra. This shows that something has gone wrong." He claimed that a large number of voters' names have been removed and most of these voters belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and minority communities.
