Mumbai police Took Action Against 201 Bangladeshis In 30 Days...

Maharashtra ATS and local police are continuously taking action against Bangladeshis living illegally in different areas of Maharashtra. Under this campaign, mumbai police has taken action against 201 Bangladeshis in a month. Along with this, cases have also been registered against Bangladeshis in different police stations.

mumbai police Joint Commissioner Law and Order Satyanarayan Chaudhary told ABP news that this year we have taken action against 201 Bangladeshis and registered a total of 131 FIRs against them.

If the figures are to be believed, last year i.e. in the year 2024, action was taken against a total of 217 Bangladeshis, but this year mumbai police has taken action against more than 200 Bangladeshis in just one month. During the investigation, the police found out that many Bangladeshis were living in mumbai for many years by hiding their identity. Some Bangladeshis came to mumbai in search of employment. These include women as well. police have also found indian documents with all these Bangladeshi citizens. An officer said that along with taking action against the Bangladeshis, we are also looking for those agents with whose help these Bangladeshis get indian documents made. They get employment in india with the help of those agents. Not only this, they also rent houses to live in.

7 deported without registering a case

Joint Commissioner Chaudhary further said that so far this year 20 Bangladeshis have been deported, out of which 7 are such Bangladeshis who, when caught, had Bangladeshi documents with them. police did not register a case against them and directly deported them to Bangladesh.
