How did congress spoil AAP's game?
Although AAP's condition was very bad in Delhi assembly elections, but Congress is largely responsible for this. Actually, there are at least 10 assembly seats in delhi where congress has directly given a big blow to Aam Aadmi Party. First of all, talking about New Delhi seat, arvind kejriwal had to face defeat by 4089 votes here. At the same time, sandeep Dixit of congress, who was at third place, got 4568 votes.
If there was an alliance between congress and aam aadmi party in Delhi assembly elections, then AAP could have benefited from this margin. Similarly, manish Sisodia's defeat margin in Jangpura was 675 votes. Here Congress's Farhad Suri got 7350 votes. Saurabh Bhardwaj lost by 3188 votes in Greater Kailash, where Congress's Garvit Singhvi got 6711 votes. somnath Bharti lost by 2131 votes in Malviya Nagar. Here Congress' Jitendra Kochar got 6770 votes.
In Rajendra Nagar, AAP's Durgesh Pathak lost by 1231 votes. Here the congress candidate got 4015 votes. In Sangam Vihar, AAP candidate Dinesh Mohaniya lost by just 344 votes, where Congress' Harsh Chaudhary got 15863 votes. In Timarpur, AAP's Surendra Pal lost by 1168 votes, while the congress candidate got 8361 votes. In Mehrauli, AAP's Mahendra Chaudhary lost by 1782 votes. Here the congress candidate got 9731 votes. On the other hand, AAP's Anjana lost by just 392 votes in Trilokpuri. Here Congress' Amardeep got 6147 votes. If AAP had got the support of Congress on all these seats, the results could have been different.
