After a long struggle and political speculations of the last several months, bjp managed to win the Milkipur assembly seat. In the Milkipur by-election, bjp candidate Chandrabhan Paswan defeated SP candidate Ajit prasad by more than 61 thousand votes. After the voting, SP has been continuously accusing of rigging in the elections. After the result of the Milkipur by-election, SP leader IP Singh targeted the bjp, accusing it of rigging. In a message posted on his official social media handle X, IP Singh wrote, "Despite gross dishonesty, the Samajwadi party has managed to get about one lakh votes."
SP made serious allegations
IP Singh held the officials responsible for the defeat of the Samajwadi party in Milkipur. He claimed that the main heroes of BJP's victory in Milkipur ayodhya are the district Magistrate, district Magistrate, Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, CO Milkipur and the three police station heads. SP leader IP Singh further alleged, "Apart from this, the heroes of BJP's victory in Milkipur are more than 12 ministers, more than 40 MLAs. According to the results released, bjp candidate Chandrabhan Paswan defeated SP candidate Ajit prasad by a margin of 61 thousand 710 votes. A total of 10 candidates were in the fray from Milkipur seat, out of which 8 candidates lost their deposits. The by-election for the Milkipur seat of ayodhya is considered to be the semi-final of the assembly elections to be held in the year 2027. congress had announced to support SP in Milkipur, while BSP did not even field a candidate. The reputation of SP and bjp was at stake in the Milkipur by-election, in which bjp won. This seat had fallen vacant when SP mla Awadhesh prasad was elected as ayodhya MP.
