Iqra Hasan Raised The Issue Of Madrasas In The Parliament?

The lok sabha mp from Kairana in Uttar Pradesh and leader of Samajwadi party raised a lot in the Lok Sabha. While speaking on the budget, she asked many questions to the central government in her speech of about 8 minutes. Iqra also raised questions on the slogan of the Bharatiya Janata party, the main party of the ruling coalition at the Center- Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.

On the issue of proposals and allocations for education in the Union Budget, the Kairana mp said that the government is saying that education will be arranged through wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital india and AI. But just look at the ground, only 22% of the government schools in Uttar Pradesh have computers. Many government schools in the parliamentary constituency of Kairana are closed due to lack of teachers and the budget of madrasa education has been cut by 57%. Is this Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas?

The mp said that the hospital is on the same lines. Where there is no doctor. Article 47 emphasizes the need for good health and improving the standard of living. It is the responsibility of the state to take necessary steps to improve the health and life of the people but the reality is that only 2% of this budget reaches the general public.

Mentioning Shamli, the SP mp said that 84 doctor posts are approved in Shamli district but only 29 doctors are working and there is only one gynaecologist. The prices of medicines are increasing but there is no relief for the poor.

Raising the issue of farmers, the Kairana mp said that in the year 2016 it was said that the income of farmers will double by the year 2022 but the year 2025 has come and no concrete guarantee has been given on MSP even today. The sugarcane farmers are not getting their dues till now and even the price of sugarcane has not been fixed in Uttar Pradesh till now.
