The name of BJP's cm in delhi has been finalised. According to sources, Pravesh Verma can take charge of Delhi. bjp and RSS have reached a consensus on his name. Pravesh Verma, who defeated AAP's national convener and former delhi cm arvind kejriwal from New delhi seat, is considered to be the strongest contender for the cm post.

On the other hand, arvind kejriwal got 25999 votes on this seat and the vote share was 42.18 percent. If we look at the data of EVM and postal votes in total votes, Pravesh Verma was ahead in both. He got 29878 votes from EVM and 210 postal votes. Whereas arvind kejriwal got 25865 votes from EVM and 134 postal votes. In this way, he won this seat by a margin of 4089 votes.
