Amanatullah Khan, aam aadmi party mla from Delhi's Okhla seat, is facing increasing troubles. delhi police is running a joint operation to catch Amanatullah Khan. Jamia nagar police station, South east District and Crime Branch teams are conducting raids. Amanatullah Khan can be arrested anytime. On monday, an FIR was filed against Amanatullah Khan for helping a PO of 307 case to abscond and obstructing government work.
The police have also imposed a riot-related section of the IPC on Amanatullah Khan, because he had gathered a crowd and tried to spoil the atmosphere, so the police have imposed IPC section 191(2). IPC 190 has also been imposed, which means that if a person was a part of an unlawful assembly and any crime was committed for the purpose of that assembly, then that person will also be considered guilty. Many sections are non-bailable.
The delhi police on monday registered an FIR against Okhla mla Amanatullah Khan for leading the attack on a police team in Jamia Nagar. According to the police, he helped the fugitive accused in an attempt to murder case escape from custody. A senior police officer confirmed the case on condition of anonymity and said that they are registering an FIR against Amanatullah Khan and his supporters for preventing a public servant from discharging his duty.
Shabaaz, wanted in an attempt to murder case, absconded
The officer said that the incident took place in Jamia nagar area when the delhi police Crime Branch tried to arrest Shabaz Khan, wanted in an attempt to murder case. Shabaz fled from the spot as supporters of AAP mla Amanatullah Khan allegedly clashed with the police team. According to police sources, Amanatullah Khan was present at the spot at the time of the attack, due to which the accused managed to escape. In the recently held delhi assembly elections, Amanatullah Khan defeated manish Chaudhary of bharatiya janata party (BJP) by 23,639 votes in Okhla assembly seat. Khan got 88,392 votes in this election. Whereas BJP's manish Chaudhary got 65,304 votes. Amanatullah has won the election from Okhla for the third consecutive time.
