AAP mla from Okhla Amanatullah Khan has written a letter to the delhi police Commissioner. In this letter, he has demanded an independent and impartial officer to investigate the FIR registered against him. He claimed that the current investigating officer is biased. Amanatullah, in a long letter, declared himself innocent and told the reasons for which the FIR was registered against him.
Amanatullah Khan says that a person in his area was being harassed in some case. people claiming to be police officers were threatening him. Whereas that person had got bail in 2018 itself. Those who were claiming to be officers have filed a complaint against me to hide their mistakes.
Amanatullah wrote in his letter, "I have come to know through the media that a false and baseless complaint has been lodged against me in Jamia nagar police station due to which an FIR has been registered. This FIR has been filed on the basis of distorted facts and has been registered despite the fact that I have not committed any crime. The incident in question is a clear case of misrepresentation of facts. I am being falsely implicated."

In the letter to the commissioner, the AAP mla further claimed, "On february 10, I received a complaint about the non-functioning of temporary pumps in my area. Being an mla, I went to the area to address the residents' complaint. After inspecting the area, I called Bhupendra Baghel and amit Tripathi and asked them to fix the problem." He further said that while I was listening to the complaint, I was told that some people in plain clothes were claiming to be police officers and threatening a person. Threats were being given to exert pressure in some court case and it was being said that it will not be good for those who interfere.
