Muslims performed the last rites of an elderly Hindu!
Breaking the walls of religion in Kundarki town of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, Muslims have set an example. Where after the death of an elderly Hindu man named Santosh, his last rites were performed by Muslims with full Hindu rituals and gave a message of humanity. In fact, Santosh, originally from Rajasthan, came to the town of Kundarki years ago and started living in a hut. He died last night due to illness. On receiving the information, dozens of Muslim people present at the taxi stand on Moradabad-Agra State Highway informed the police and then took the responsibility of performing the last rites of elderly Santosh, first they bought the funeral material from the market and then started making the bier of a Hindu man with their own hands.

Whoever heard about this extraordinary work done by Muslim youth has praised the humanity shown by them. More than a dozen Muslim youths reached Mokshadham carrying the body of old Santosh on their shoulders and cremated him according to Hindu customs.
Farhan ali Khan says that Santosh was a poor person from a faraway place and had been living with us for years in a hut. After his death, we informed the police about it and after getting permission from them, all of us Muslims collected money for this and considering it a social work, we all got his last rites done according to Hindu customs. This work of the Muslim community is being appreciated.
We are all people of Muslim religion but we have done this work in the name of humanity. Humanity is a bigger thing than religion. We want to give the message through this that people should love each other and should not get involved in the Hindu Muslim issue. The biggest thing is humanity. We want to make people aware that all humans are brothers and there should be absolutely no politics in the name of Hindu Muslim. Another Muslim youth Jaane Alam who performed Santosh's last rites said that the deceased Santosh was from outside and lived in a slum here. We all Muslims collected money among ourselves and performed his last rites and we also informed the police about it so that no one has any objection. Everyone is appreciating the people of the Muslim community performing the last rites of a Hindu person and people are calling it an example of humanity.
