

Delhi Police's traffic advisory regarding Shab-e-Barat!
Delhi police has issued an advisory ahead of Shab-e-Barat, the holy festival of the Muslim community. According to the police, traffic restrictions and diversions will come into effect from thursday (13 February) evening. The advisory states that traffic restrictions and diversions regarding Shab-e-Barat will start from 5 pm in Central delhi and will remain in force till the end of the festival.
Where can diversion happen?
Delhi traffic police said that traffic movement may be restricted/diverted on Netaji Subhash nagar Marg, SMP Marg, Church Mission Road, Khari Baoli Road, Qutub Road, Maharaja Agrasen Marg, Subhash Park T-Point, Shanti Van Chowk and Chhatta rail Chowk. The advisory also said that the movement of vehicles may be restricted/diverted at Fatehpuri T Point, BH Rao Road, rani Jhansi Road, Pahari Dhiraj, Sadar Thana Road, BSZ Marg, Bora Tooti Chowk, delhi Gate and Rajghat. Passengers were also asked to avoid areas where the Shab-e-Barat procession will take place.
Special advice to passengers going to the railway station
Along with this, passengers going to Old delhi Railway Station, ISBT, red Fort, chandni Chowk and tis hazari court have been advised to plan their journey with sufficient time to avoid delay.
'Inform the police if you find any suspicious object'
Not only this, people have been advised to give preference to public transport to reduce the crowd on the road. Do not park on the roadside and park the vehicle only where proper arrangements have been made for it. If any information is received about any suspicious/unknown object or person, then people have been appealed to inform the nearest police or PCR.
