When sanjay raut raised questions on Shinde getting the award?

Maharashtra Deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde was honored with the Mahadji Shinde National Gaurav Award at the 18th All india Marathi Literature Conference in Maharashtra. Eknath Shinde was given this award by ncp (SP) chief and 98th All india Marathi Literary Conference chairman Sharad Pawar, after which the political battle between the ruling and opposition parties has intensified. In fact, shiv sena (UBT) mp sanjay raut said to deputy cm Shinde on the Mahadji Shinde National Gaurav Award, "Do you know who gave this award? Such awards given to political leaders are either bought or sold." At the same time, bjp leader jyotiraditya scindia has retaliated on this statement of Sanjay Raut.

Scindia hits back

Scindia tweeted on his social media handle X and said, "Maratha society is watching everything. What will those who have rejected the ideals of bala Saheb thackeray and insulted not only Hindutva but also maratha self-respect, understand about maratha respect? Those who have lost their support base and respect in their own society are suffering from the respect of others."

What did sanjay raut say again?

At the same time, sanjay raut again responded to Scindia's statement and said, "Maharaj, understand history. Veer Mahadji Shinde was a great proud maratha warrior. Giving awards to fugitives in his name is an insult to Mahadji Shinde. There is no objection to giving an award to Eknath Shinde in the name of Jayajirao Shinde. Mahadji did not bow down to Delhi."

Why did Eknath Shinde get this award?

According to the Sarhad Sanstha, during his two and a half years tenure as the chief minister, Eknath Shinde took very important decisions for the welfare of farmers, laborers, women, senior citizens and youth. He worked not only as a chief minister but also as a common citizen. Shinde's work was also appreciated at the national level. To honor these works of Shinde and his leadership, the Sarhad Sanstha decided to give him the Mahadji Shinde Rashtriya Gaurav Award.
