Bus stations will be shifted outside the city in this district!
The administration is working on many measures to overcome the problem of jam in meerut city of Uttar Pradesh. In this episode, along with the construction of the ring road in meerut, a plan is being made to shift the Bhainsali Roadways bus Stand to two places outside the city. For this, the process of land acquisition is in the final stage. The team of district Administration, Tehsil and NCRTC has completed the survey work at both these places in Meerut. Now the district administration is doing the final test of the land. It is being speculated that within a week this work can be completed and the land owners can be paid.
The bus station will be built in 39 thousand square meters
The plan of the metropolis was prepared in the year 2021 itself to make meerut jam free. Under this scheme, it was decided to shift the private and roadways bus stations running in the city outside. Land was also identified for this. This decision is being taken in meerut to get rid of the jam in the city. So that more than 400 buses and private vehicles coming to the city are taken out from outside the state.
Under this scheme, first of all, Bhainsali bus station will be built outside the city. This bus station will be divided into two parts and shifted to Bhudbaral and Modipuram. A total of 39,930 square meters of land from 4 villages is being acquired for the construction of both the bus stations.
NCRTC is bearing the cost of the bus station
28 thousand square meters of land is being acquired for the construction of the bus station in Bhudbaral. Whereas in Modipuram, the bus station will be constructed on 11 thousand square meters of land. At the same time, NCRTC (National capital Region Transport Corporation) is bearing the cost of construction for the bus station. After completing all the land acquisition process, the team of district administration, tehsil and NCRTC is doing the work of joint measurement survey together. It is being claimed that the final announcement of acquisition will be made after completing the test work of one week. Besides, payments will be made to the landowners too.
